They need to buff launchers a lot in PvE, but keep them the same in PvP because they cause almost no damage to monsters, but massive amounts to other players in duels.

Think about shotguns...The only way to really make them Area of Effect killing machines is to have Roland with max scattershot...but then you'd still need a seriously BEAST shotgun. Splash/AoE just didn't make the cut it seems. Grenades work, you see, but launchers don't. This is not oversight. This is to either limit the amount of desire across the board for launchers, or it is to make grenades still seem like a viable option when you could just switch to your launcher instead. Why do you think there are launchers that shoot multiple warheads?

To make them worth a damn, that's right.

Well, to highlight the bold, i have 1 idea: Make lawnchairs more uncommon! Make them rare, even! Give brick something like a talent or a mod, or even an innate ability, that when he opens a chest or something, that it's a higher % chance of there being a launcher inside. He's the only one who uses them in a talent tree, or anything more then maybe just for fun; Because he's the only one who has them as a talent/talent tree.

Just my 85$

i got a gold rocket launcher that does 1600 corrosive damage and shoots 4 rockets at once. 1600x4=pain.

my rocket lawnchair does 950x3 (helix) with x4 corrosive, and it still can't hurt a fly.

it's 1600x8, if it procs corrosive. Too bad that it doesn't actually do that damage, because its all supposed to be in the non-existent "Explosion".

They are already 1 hit kill in pvp, but I guess buffing them wouldn't make them any more overpowered than that.

all i know is that in the hands of a bruiser they seem to take you down pretty fast , but in your hands they are as useless as alien weapons as you probably have much stronger weapons

They work fine for me, especially x4 fire ones, splash damage at their feet.

I think the problem here is that people think their RL's are supposed to kill everything, no matter what the stats on them are.

-Corrosive is the best against armored enemies ( Crimson Lance, turrets, etc... ).
-Fire is the best against unarmored enemies like bandits.
-Shock is the best against the guardians and to lower shields on bandits and Lance soldiers.
-Blast is all-around good in my experience.
-No element just sucks balls.

RL's with a description of "Monster Kill!" have HUGE blast radii. Those are the ones you want against big groups of enemies. If you're a soldier with the Cauterize skill, it's the best healing weapon in the game, hands down.

The best RL's in the game are elemental Helix launchers and elemental "Monster Kill!" launchers.

Rhino's and Nidhogg launchers are for firework displays.

Everything else sucks balls.

meh... you wanna see "game breaking" just play Roland as anything other than nurse/mobile snack bar. His entire gimped existence is "game breaking".
