I agree with that too. You shouldn't "promise" something if you aren't sure you can deliver on it. There are more subtle ways to leave the door open for a sequel, but sometimes it's really hard to predict the future. As Yoda says "Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future."

I understand, Botman. Its all good, thanks man. But I have a question...if you guys aren't gonna make a 4th game, will you announce that...eventually? To ease our minds in the future, that is.

Well, I didn't say we won't make a BiA4 (or BiA5 or BiA6). We just haven't officially announced anything. We're always talking internally about "Wouldn't it be cool if we added this, or that to game XYZ?". So we're always talking about stuff that we'd *like* to do, but we don't have the time or the resources to do everything that we want to do. We have to pick and choose things that we think would be the most enjoyable (both for our customers and for ourselves) and profitable (because we wouldn't stay in business long if we weren't recouping development costs.

Heck, one day we may even do a sequel to Half-Life Opposing Force.

Okay I'm a fan of BiA since the first one came out, I love it, the story lines are amazing and the connection created to the characters draws you in so much. I'd like to suggest however that it would be cool if there was a first person cover system! to make an even more realistic touch, or have the option to do that, incase people prefer 3rd person. As well as having the ability to go prone and use it in order to move from cover to cover maybe?

And regarding the comments posted earlier about gamers moving on to more modern set games, since the release of those games not many WW2 shooters have been released, so you can't really say it won't be successful just due to that (and why wouldn't BiA4 not be successful? )

And seriously, I will sell my body just to buy it.

Yeah I know, I feel the same. WW2 fps' are so much fun, but I mean, Gearbox have to do what's best for them. What's most profitable. From what I heard, HH didn't do so well but when Borderlands came out, it was a great success and I guess they are gonna wanna build on that success. But one can only hope ey

Just don't believe the release date on the website when you pre-order it.
