Help with graphics settings not saving

Every time I start up Borderlands, my graphics settings are not saving. The only setting that saves is my resolution.

Any way to keep desired settings permanently? Possibly by changing code in a file or something?

It gets rather annoying when I need to change my graphics every gaming session, so if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Set all your desired settings. Alt-tab back to Windows and open Windows Explorer and browse to \user\<name>\My Games\Borderlands\Willowgame (or something like that). Find all the INI files. Right-click on them, go to Properties, and mark them Read-Only.

If they are already marked as Read-Only, then you (or the game) won't be able to change them. Make them not Read-Only first, set things in the game the way you want, then set them to Read-Only if you want to lock out any future changes.

Good point Botman.

But his resolution is saving, so I'd think they were RW.
