Maybe someone allready posted this, but i couldnt find it =/
Anyway, im getting this error when i start borderlands: ![]() these is my system info: ![]() Anyone got suggestions ?? |

This error is addressed in the PC Installation issues thread (Issue #4: Error - The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect): http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com...ad.php?t=82240
To resolve the issue, you will need to update your 32-bit (x86) C++ redistributables. You can find links to the redists from Microsoft in the thread linked above. If Krestena would like to post the solution that worked in this case, that would also be great (especially if a different method than the steps listed here was used). |

its x64bits but thnx for the advise ^_^ And well it wasnt a real big problem after all. I download borderlands fro mthe net, on windows 7 it worked perfectly without installing borderlands. But on Vista i needed to install it. ( with some visual updates xD) im only still thinking, why i would play on wondows 7 without install it and on vista not. Anyway, game work perfectly now =]

Windows 7 may have already had those redistributable files installed on it. Vista probably didn't.
