Here's an idea for some DLC I'd love to see. GBX recently indicated that they're open to smaller and more focused DLCs. Sign if this is something you'd like to see and you'd be willing to pay for.
1) Bring back General Knoxx as a Real Estate Agent in one of the unused TBone Junction buildings. This character is just too interesting, complex and funny to not bring back. In my opinion, Knoxx is one of the best characters in the game, equally as interesting as Scooter. Here's a way we can bring him back with it being believable within the Borderlands fiction: Recall that the high level Lance operatives have access to personal teleportation devices (aka PTDs). It's entirely plausible that General Knoxx said "aww to hell with it!" and activated his PTD when his power suit's computer system indicated that a complete failure of the armor integrity was imminent. Look at the little video that plays when you start the DLC - Athena, in a split second of time, teleports out of an about-to-explode racer and behind some lance troopers. It's entirely plausible that as Knoxx fights you, he ends up respecting you and has a change of heart. Like Athena, he sees the error in the the Atlas Corporation's heavy handed ways and wants to change sides. 2) Open up one of the many unused buildings in TBone Junction and set it up as General Knoxx's real estate shop. For comedic value, they could give Knoxx a silly Grouch Marx type of disguise. After the final battle at the Armory, he's decided that he wants to enjoy the rest of his years in peace and quiet, while also working to undermine Atlas Corp's grip on Pandora. While Pandora may be a massively polluted hell hole full of mentally-challenged convincts, Knoxx is stuck, so he's going to make the best of it, set up a shop and perhaps ask Moxxie out on a date. Knoxx's NPC will serve three functions: 2A) He will sell you the deed to a building in town that can be shared amongst all the characters on your account. This house or apartment will be instanced (for multiplayer) and will have a permanent storage locker that can be upgraded to hold more if you spend enough in Knoxx's shop. 2B) He will give out some new missions to help further undermine the Atlas corp, or perhaps they will instead help Dahl, Jakobs or Hyperion gain more of a foothold on the planet. Dahl, Hyperion and Jakobs seem to be played up more as the "good guys" of the game that have some amount of investment in Pandora. 2C) Much like how the decorations worked in Fallout 3, he will be the point of contact for decorations and/or themes for your new house. 3) As an added bonus, allow Knoxx to use his former connections in the Lance so you can "reset" the Circle of Duty missions and do them again. Knoxx will make it so that if you successfully complete them you can get some kind of store credit or tokens that purchase Lance specific decorations for your house. sounds good and would be awesome except knoxx clearly sais that he hates this planet and wants to blow it up.. and about him respeccting us wouldent go with anything he or the ECHO diaries say..the only reason hes fighting us personally is couse he hates our guts. but the idea of having a fallout 3 type house would be amazing..could also make the decor of the house rare drops

Personally, I think this sounds good, plus it gives the game owner a sense of customization/personalization so that they can actually display trophies/ mad moxxie certificates. Although having it cost money is a no for me because the mad moxxie dlc was a definite disappointment, it was not nearly worth $10 if you compare it to other dlc's like from fallout 3 or even the other dlc's. Simply put, moxxie dlc was pumped out and they tacked on 20 round difficulties to make it seem harder, yet that added no dynamic to the game. [/rant]

I have to disagree with the previous poster's comment about Knoxx fighting because he hated our guts. I really think Knoxx liked the player to some extent. Knoxx just had a job to do, that's all, and as evidenced by him contemplating suicide, he wasn't really into the company loyalty aspect of it either. Also, Knoxx stated he was going to quit the Lance anyways! All I'm saying is that what if...Knoxx teleported away in time and found himself stuck on Pandora because he couldn't go back to lance HQ (for his shuttle) or they'd jail him. |

I like the idea, although I wouldn't say any manufacturers are viewed as good guys. Maybe Maliwan, but only because them along with a couple others don't have a back-story.

I like the idea, if only because we can get storage outside of Moxxi.

Hearing the lines they would give Real Estate agent Knoxx would be worth the $5 alone

Considering that Knoxx was trying to kill himself before you got to him, I doubt that he could take being a real estate agent.
