80 kills no pearlescent? wtfwaffles

hey erm, i was just wondering if anyone knows the drop rates of pearlescents from crawmerax? i killed him 180 times now and its been over 80 kills and non good drops, not even a rare orange and thats including with 3/4 people with +2 rare item mods on yet..nothing.

If anyone happens to know whats going on or why crawmerax is being so uptight please let me know ;_;

You have to sweettalk him first. In all honestly I've had **** luck with craw, though I love messing around with the lance on the way there (I get bored waiting for people) and I've found like 4 pearls in the 2 chests next to the bridge.

Try not having your teammates and yourself have +rare find item mods on.

I swear they work in reverse most of the time.

When I was first learning to solo Craw, I cheated for a while and used split screen to hide a second Siren up there so I wouldn't have to restart when I died... The second siren hit level 48 (all from Craw runs haha) right before I was making the kill... so I stopped and popped my +2 find rare items on her... and then finished him...

He didn't even drop any Oranges that run. I laughed. Just dumb luck, but I don't even mess with those +2's anymore.

Exactly the same has been happening with me. I've tried with and without +2 mods, groups of 4, 3, 2, solo, everything! And still, I haven't found a single pearl. My buddy however, finds an anarchy aries after he joins his friends game on the first time they beat him. Ridiculous I tell you!

I have found all 3 of my Cyan guns in areas not from Crawmerax. From Badasses in Road's End to the Armory. Going to try the Prison next.

I get really great purple and orange weapons from Crawmerax and that is good enough for me.

lol, haven't tried that before!

anyway, yeah, he hasn't dropped a pearl for me either. I'll keep hunting though. I already start to feel like one of the "Deadliest Catch" guys.

I found three, got one in a trade. i got them all in two days also, my luck i guess. I was using a hunter.
