Question about starting with DLC

I just got the game for PS3 and I'm going to play it later.

I was wondering if starting off the game with the DLC will give me any advantages? and if so what? or if it doesn't matter when I get the DLC

Which DLC? If you mean Knoxx, then I believe you have to play through the main game anyway, and upon completion is it possible to go furether. None of the DLCs give you any real advantage save for Knoxx for the level cap raise and new weapons.

I assume your talking about Knoxx.
I really wouldn't recommend you getting it untill your 50+ because you will be limited to what you can do in terms of gear.

Thanks for the replies.

If none really give me an advantage, save for Knoxx, then I'll just play the game and see if I want to get the other two DLC's, then Knoxx when I'm level 50.
