Game Of the Year Edition?

Hey Guys,

Future BL player, just wondering if there will be a game of the year edition with all 3 DLC's and maybe something extra special? just wondering, love the game and tbh i would not like to dl the adds from steam due to bad net + i get capped heaps easy...just putting the idea out there.

Slightly OT but a quick comment around your 'capped' comment: Frey's 3FL Steam Filter may be of use to you. I'm not sure if you're aware, but your ISP (the one you posted from) supports unmetered steam content when loaded from 3FL steam servers. Unfortunately, steam has a habit of connecting to a bunch of servers, not just the local one, hence the filter may help in restricting your downloads to only the unmetered ones (pretty easy to run - just run as admin and select 3FL).

As not all games are available from 3FL (or even if they are, it won't always find the content) you may find that downloads are slow, don't download at all or steam simply hangs, so filter isn't the cleanest method but it at least does ensure you're not using metered bandwidth. Just remember to disable the filter when you've finished downloading or else your steam might hang and have other login issues.

I thought that gearbox was releasing all up to date dlc on disks

To Antismily, i dont have a clue, being From Australia EB Games or any other retailer (Jb-Hi Fi, Game or Dickies) dont have any way of telling me that it is on the disc, the only way i seem to tell is through the price which is always $89.95 wherever i go...

The 'add-on pack' will be available in the US early next month - it contains the first two DLCs. Not sure if/when this will be available in Australia.

Check the 3FL filter link and see if your ISP is listed...I have a feeling it is

Schweet....hopefully ill get the game next week and wait for the addon pack. BUT...if the GotY edition does come out with all 3 then ill be a bit cheezed off lmao. Win Win in both situations anyway for the developer and gamer.

i dont and wont have steam and fairly poor internet,but the dlc's downloaded ok for me in uk.but no doubt a goty edition will surface before long.

Good News....Bought the game today and will be downloading the add ons from steam XD through the filter system as relic described.
