Best Power Leveling Routine???

For those you do power leveling. What is your best routine?

Today, I am going to go through the Lost Cave; step out and kill Mothrak, step back in the Lost Cave and fast travel to kill Skagsville, kill Rakk Hive, complete the Descent/Promontory, kill Motorhead, run through Lockdown, kill Crawmerax (maybe 2 or 3 times) and kill Knoxx with a level 1 character to determine how high it gets.

Just beat the adds from the fight with Craw. You waste a lot less time and you get hude exp for it.

With the method you describe it seems that you're going to spend half the time driving or running, unless you're wanting to power level yourself and not a second character...

You know, I thought the running would be a waste but actually Craw is actually better to finish with than start. In the Lost Cave, the enemies are 49-51 and there are a lot of them so you actually level up quickly. You are probably right with respect to the Descent run and Lockdown, a lot of running and driving, but again, what I am finding is that you need paths with a lot of high levels enemies, not just 1 or 2 big ones.

50-61 must be done through Craw, there is no other way to boost up there. Gen. Knoxx is the next best.

Agree, you got to go through them once you hit lvl 48 and above

I took a lvl 26 siren and a lvl 61 soldier with a leader mod, pulled up splitscreen sat down for a few hours of killing craw hiding lil in the glitch spot and went to town on craw with roland when i was done shopping for guns lil grabbed the rest to buy ammo upgrades. worked great and served more than just lvling lil got some good loot too. now lil owns craw solo, split screen, glitch, no glitch doesnt matter she is built to farm craw : )


great so call me a noob but i tried to freaking mod lils backpack and um yeah she is gone : ( IDIOT well need less to say im about to power lvlv her again so ill keep in mind how long it takes this time fyi switch weapons on lil every once and awhile for prof last one was only good with smg lol

Motorhead isn't bad for leveling a character up to 61. At least not another character. I'm not sure if we're talking about a single character or leveling up a second character. I have one character on my wife's profile that is 61 on playthru 2.5. I use her to level up characters on my profile and I've found that Motorhead is good for leveling up to 61 and for weapon proficiency. My two cents anyway.

Yes, we are talking about leveling up a second character. I use the same technique as you but tend to due the routine mentioned above

How many hours and the Siren went from lvl26 to what in that time?

One of my XBL buddies asked me the other day if i could help him out with his Soldier, by that time he was lvl. 16. Of course i did, i started a new game with my 61 Mordecai, equipment has been a gunslinger mod, Double Thanatos 171x2 dmg., 1000+ dmg. Pestifiler, 6 Round Burning Viper, Pearl Aries and a Panacea shield

• first off Motorhead, killing him gave Roland jun. a boost from 16 to 19
  to Road's End, he killed some Drifters in a Monster, i went for the armory-> 26
  exit game, new game, Motorhead again, back to T-Bone Junction, fast travel to the Lost Caves, did the first area only with Skags and Worms -> 32
  fast travel to Arid Badlands, Marley, Moe and lots of BadAss & SuperBad Skags -> 35
  fast travel to Eridian Promontory, all the way up to the Vault entrance (love my Aries) -> 39

This way he made it from 16 to 39 in exactly 48 minutes, i think that was pretty ok. To be continued...
