This Soldier has one humble request.

As Gearbox is undoubtibly aware, People are glitched out of the Armory, so that they can not turn in their quests. As they are also undoubtibly aware, People are also glitching into the Armory to get free farms with no time limit. What I would like to ask, is to remove the blast door all together, if this is at all possible.

I only have two acheivements to get before I get Completionist, which are Completionist itself and Armory Assault. I can not get Armory Assualt as I am glitched out of the Armory, and call me old fashioned, but I dislike, no loath, the idea of glitching to get them.

Ideally, it would work like this: You may enter the Armory at any time (After killing Knoxx every time, of course), but the moment you enter the coded door, the timer would start it's count down, so as to make the time consuming glitches, while still possible, impractical. I imagine I am going to get a fair amount of flak for proposing this. This would also help make the Armory the focus of the DLC, instead of Crawmerax, as it is labeled "The Secret Armory of General Knoxx", not "The Secret Lair of Crawmerax the Invicible".

Anyway, just thought I would throw that out there for consideration, what with the new DLC being announced. (Sorry if this should have gone into the Suggestion thread)

Well really, all they need to do to "fix" the farmory runs is place a brush under that door. It doesn't even need to be textured - stuff under there wasn't lol (and really didnt need to be, since it wasn't supposed to be seen). However, I'm sure they did playtesting and knew of the "glitch". C'mon, you can practically walk over it and fall in honestly .

Hmm, maybe they left the "farmory" in and crawermax respawnable (since the "destroyer" gets destroyed once) to compensate for the rest of the game not "scaling" to 61.. After beating knoxx it scales up only 5 levels or so over what it was (ie: lv 51 areas become 56, etc.. look thru the editor, balance files show it all).

PS. If you've been glitched out of the armory, iirc you need to use willowtree to "fix" it.

The armroy should be fixable if you can find someone else who hasn't done the mission and do it with them in their game.

I think Fixer Upper is he only one that requires WT to clear.

As for Willow Tree, I'm on Xbox, and I don't know if it will work on there/if it does I don't want to get my account banned if they decide to ever drop the hammer on the modders on here.
