TheGhost's Custom Turret Video Tutorial

Hey, everybody!

Welcome to my latest installment, a trio of video tutorials covering the entire process of making your own custom turrets and getting them in-game. The tutorial was broken down into the three major parts: Modeling, Animating, and Tagging. They will step you through the entire process, starting from scratch and ending with fully-functioning turrets in-game.

This is the turret I'll be making in the tutorial, before it's skinned:

1. Modeling (includes modeling, texturing, exporting)
Part 1 (FileFront, 23 mins, 50.0 MB packed)

2. Animating (includes creating movement animations and firing animations and exporting)
Part 2 (FileFront, 10 mins, 21.7 MB packed)

3. Tagging (compiling bitmaps, models, animations, collision geometry; creating shaders, vehicle, weapon tags; testing in game)
Part 3 (FileFront, 10 mins, 24.2 MB packed)

And there you have it!

I strongly recommend that you fully watch all of the tutorials, in order. The tutorials are pretty much self-explanatory, so go watch! I hope that you find these helpful. Until next time,

This is what CE needs, more how to instead of tags placed on a platter

I would write tutorials, if..
1. I had good grammer
2. wasn't to lazy
3. wasn't a busy(but lazy) person.
