Default Reloading the M1 Garand

As I understand, whether or not you can reload the M1 Garand is something of a point of controversy. Well, the Colonel has seen this, and is responding to concerns in video form! Check out our latest blog to end the controversy once and for all!

Much appreciated. I was confused about this myself. Seeing as how COD and MOH depicts the M1. thx.

It is beyond words how awesome the GBX team is to release a vid IN RESPONSE to feedback from fans. You guys werent obligated to do so, but YET you did anyhow. This is what raises BIA above the bar.
Antal is awesome BTW.

Who would make a gun that wouldn't allow you to load or unload at any time?

Exactly; however, we've had a lot of feedback about people who are confused because of the way that CoD and MoH (I believe both do this) depict the weapon. Since they came first and wouldn't let you reload the M1, people have called us out on it, so we just want everyone to know that we've done our homework

Cool beans.

Download speed sucks though, keeps jumping all over the place.

EDIT: Wow that M1 has a kick to it.

I have no idea; it may have been a "design choice" for gameplay purposes only, but it sure isn't authentic and doesn't make a lot of sense.

Yeah, and that vid proves it. Funny thing is though, in SPR and BOB, they fire the M1 Garand about as fast as one could pull the trigger. But in real life, did soldiers really fire it that fast , is it even possible to fire it that fast and keep sight fixture?
