Default *Developers* Use the Technical Manual

It'd help no end with your game.

I think every developer has a few of those. Its like required reading or something if you want to make games. I bet Gearbox has a dozen or more of those things lying around.

I think its my second favourite thing to the actual film.

Yay. How much that set you all back? It's the most expensive Aliens book I've seen.

Two of the team members already owned copies long before they ever even thought they'd ever work on an Aliens game. They just had them cause they are fans. We've digitized them so we can reference them more easily during development.

Not sure how much they paid for them, but they did make sure we treated them well due to how rare they are. Thus the even more important reason to get them digitized, so we don't tear them apart looking through them.

Aye. I've seen that beastie going for about £100 before. Recently it's been cheaper - Ebay has some up for £30 odd at the moment.

Does this mean we'll be seeing some of the CMTM weapons? Like the sniper rifle and etc? There's this really cool rifle in the Illustrated Aliens screenplay that looks kinda like the SA80. It'd be really nice to see some of those weapons.

£100 wow thats shocking. I had no idea they had become so rare.

Mine cost me £15 brand new.

There was also P&P RPG book too. I don’t remember the name or publisher, but I always wished I’d purchased it. I wonder if Gearbox have acquired any of those?

I know exactly what you're thinking of but the name alludes me and everyone else I've asked. It's killing me.

A search on Google for Aliens Predator CCG turned it out, of all things. It was published by Leading Edge and called Aliens Adventure Game.

That’s the one, Cheers Hicks.

I just googled it and found this.

http://binarybonsai.com/sitesdir/ali...-technical.htm

Now I remember why I didn’t buy it. I remember skipping through it in the shop, and noticing how inaccurate it was to the films.

Still, I wished I’d got one.

By the way I found this really cool Aliens flash game while looking.

Damn its pretty hard, here is my first score.

I only managed to keep Apone alive
