I hope. There weren't enough times where you defended in the last games.

Seriously defending something can be very intense especially when you are losing people and running out of ammo. Set a scenario where you are behind the trigger of a .30 cal with soldiers piling up in front of you trying to take back a position. I have read of things like this happening many of times with troops.

I liked the level in road to hill 30 were you go rescue that guy then come back and defend the house from waves of germans

That mission was a little too easy when you defended the farm against the waves of counter attacks.
They always came from the same area and never made you displace. Each time one would come over the mound, if your squads were positioned correctly, they would pick them off before they even made it to cover.

Yea, I thought that was SO cool. Prior to that I had never seen a scenario close to it in a WW2 game.

Tom and Jerry involved counter attacks.
Usually when the Germans did counter attack you had some good weapon, like their would be an MG42 easily placed to your disposal. |

Yeah, honestly, I'd like to try to get flanked every once in a while.
