Default On the bright side of things..

anyone remember that one or two guys who kept going crazy over the gun sounds, wanting them to be perfect and this and that.

Gearbox did a phenomenal job at the gun sounds. When I first fired the M1 Garand i was seriously impressed, the sound and feel was captured perfectly... However, when I first fired the thompson my jaw literally dropped. I seriously can't believe you got the thompson sounding that perfect. Really.

Absolutely fantastic job on the sounds, wouldn't be the same game without em.

I love the sound of the German Kar. After you've fired a shot you can literally hear the bullet cutting through the wind. Such a sharp sound.

yes the sound over all is incredible, gun sounds and environmental sounds. I love turning up my surround sound and soaking it in!

it is definately possible to reload the M1 even though the clip is not empty. but i doubt that soldiers in real life did this quite often.

you can reload mid clip as everyone here said, but it wasn't common to do that from what I've read.

on a side note I love shooting the m1 (inreal life) just to hear the sound of that clip ejecting.

still ranks as one of my favorite guns to shoot, the m1 carbine is fun too, as is the springfield
