We get lots of questions about how to get into the industry - here's a little advice for people starting out on the road to game development:

Wow, job offers from Gearbox, SWEET! I've always been a HUGE GBX fan, gaming fan and have been described as "obsessive with precision gaming", and have always been into software design and creating interactive games. I'd love to get a job at the company, especially with my epic, can do, will do, go all or nothing, attitude.

Well, it's more a "here's a good starting point if you wanted to get into the games industry" and "what we look for in good applicants" than an "oh god please send us your application ASAP JOB OFFERS" article.

Well that's still ok, I'm just looking to get into the game developing world, I think Gearbox has a lot of helpful info on it, like where to look and get started.

Great article!
I plan on applying in a month or two. I just graduated, and now its time to get me a job, after 2 years of non stop practice (which you can never get anuff of) and school. Now that I'm on a mod team "Project Stealth" I get to see what its like to make a game (to a certain extent) which is really cool. Also, doing various projects for other people (its always great to be doing something you love). So, hopefully I'll see yall guys in the near future!

by the way, I love halo and half life! and I plan on checking out brothers in arms soon.
