No...No Forests?

I just saw an E3 Presentation where Randy was talking about the different weapon manufacturers and the guy pulled put a revolver, which Randy explained to be a pistol made by Jacobs. The weapon was made with a wood stock, and Randy said that wood weapons are rare because there is no wood on Pandora so it has to be imported. Does this mean no forest?

We do however have a lovely landscape made of garbage, scuttle, and scrap. Post-modern art in them hills.

I thought it Was Fitting. Forrest as in Forrest Gump and because you never know... No trees. You know?

its an alien planet, not earth. is it going to be that bothersome that there wont be any forests? I'm sure we will see some shrubbery or a tree here and there but as for a whole forest i would say don't hold your breath.

Sooooo why make a post when you know the answer?

I saw Randy said there was a Jacobs gun....does that mean Jacobs company is in the game!?!?!

No woods, but I've seen grass in some screenshots. They also said the last zone is up the mountains in deep snow. So the game does have different themes.

Jacobs (Jakobs?) was one of the manufacturers confirmed early on (it's Randy's favorite, I believe).
