General Protection Fault problem

Every time I try to launch BL(off steam) i get this error



Does anyone know how to fix this problem?


PS: I have tried installing a new video driver(191.07) but nothing seemed to work

Currently trying to run on AMD Athlon XP 2800+, Geforce 7800GT, 2gb of ram, windows xp sp2, everything is updated to the latest, except the video card because the newest drivers are horrible.

I also have the Steam version, and am having the same issue. I'm running Windows XP SP3, and have the requirements meet just fine. I don't understand what I should do, I've reinstalled, and verified the files through Steam. This doesn't look to be on my end either. Highly frustrating.

I can't get past the part where you get to open your first box of weapons, because it always crashes there. First time was when he was opening the gate, and another when i was opening some chest for money.

This is really ******* lame, been waiting forever to play this game.
