Makes the world feel bigger IMO, more personality, forces the player to take part in car combat.

Haven't seen any fast travels either. A bit lame, but I can deal

Does this mean the layout is hub-like as Zombie Island was, all spokes off of Jakob's Cove?

Well I was hoping for some fast-travels but I knew I couldn't have everything. Considering I got used to the way ZI worked I'm sure this'll be fine. I'll just psyche myself for any frustrations now.

Well ZI takes me a minimum of 8 hours to play since I can't ever get enough playtime to jam through it in one sitting, usually takes me 4 play sessions. 2-3 hours is about the most I can devote at a time. I expect this will give me a good 12+ hours per character per playthrough, plus Crawmerax and initial exploration time.

Assuming you can only access this after beating the Destroyer each playthrough, I've got 3 characters ready to play this with in PT1, and only Roland really able to approach the PT2 iteration. But then I stopped my chars at Lvl 50 and, except Roland (my first char) didn't really overplay them since it got rather boring for me with no room to advance. Plus I have anticipated this DLC's offerings for months now, and the waiting paid off.
